1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile application LumiRevive - Restore Old Photos, published by 84soft. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is processed, how long it is kept, and the choices you have.

2. Data We Collect

• Photos you upload: the images you choose to restore, enhance, colorize or upscale, together with the restored results.
• Account information: if you sign in, basic details such as your email address, used only to identify your account and your restoration history.
• Technical data: anonymous app and device information used to keep the app stable and fix errors.

We never access your photo library in the background. Only the photos you explicitly select are uploaded.

3. How Your Photos Are Processed

When you request a restoration, your photo is sent from the app to our backend and then forwarded to a trusted and secure AI processing platform (OpenAI) over an encrypted connection. The AI platform performs the restoration and returns the result to you.

Your photos are used solely to deliver the restoration you asked for. They are not used for advertising, profiling, or any other purpose.

4. Face Data Processing

Some uploaded photos may contain human faces.

The app may process facial features that appear in uploaded photos solely for the purpose of photo restoration, enhancement, colorization, and improving image quality.

The app does not collect, create, store, analyze, or share:

• facial recognition templates,
• biometric identifiers,
• face geometry data,
• face embeddings,
• or any information used to identify a person.

Facial information is never used for identity verification, authentication, advertising, profiling, tracking, or any purpose unrelated to the photo restoration service requested by the user.

Any facial information contained within uploaded photos is subject to the same retention and deletion practices described in Section 5 (Data Retention and Automatic Deletion).

5. Data Retention and Automatic Deletion

Your original photos and restored results are stored securely so you can revisit them in your restoration history. They are kept for a maximum of 3 months.

After 3 months, all stored images are automatically and permanently deleted. This retention period is also shown clearly at the top of the History screen inside the app.

You may delete any photo from your history at any time, and it is removed from our storage.

6. No Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, publish, or disclose user photos to third parties for advertising, marketing, analytics, profiling, or any unrelated purpose.

Photos may be securely transmitted to our AI processing providers (OpenAI) solely to perform the restoration service requested by the user.

7. Security

All data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored in access-restricted storage. We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or misuse.

8. Your Rights

You can access, export or delete your photos and account data at any time from within the app, or by contacting us. We will action deletion requests promptly.

9. Children's Privacy

LumiRevive - Restore Old Photos is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
